The Mystery Project 2012

Still Growing

This  project is a collaboration with the 

Brooklyn Art Library & Prismacolor. 

The Mystery Project challenges artists to experiment with the unexpected. Everyone received a mystery project kit, which included a free Prismacolor Brush l Fine Art Marker in a surprise color (eye received forest green) and a secret theme ("Things and the people and places using them") to guide my work. Eye had 2 create a token of inspiration using the tools in my kit then install it in a public place for a stranger to discover. 

Eye will be leaving my work in a public space this week.  

Eye must document my installation in a photograph & upload it 2

the Brooklyn Art Library/Prismacolor.

This project has been a challenge and eye loved every minute of it!

Here I Am...

Hello...

I've been a busy bee since I last posted.

I went 2 Evansville 4 Thanksgiving.  Emily & I feed the homeless @ our church

on that morning then had our dinner later that day w/family & friends!

We caught up on our "slasher" movies together.
She had 1 I'd never

seen before, let alone heard of, "Black Christmas/1974".

She told me there was a re-make  in 2006 & it sucked.

I enjoyed all of my favorite foods:

Doughnut Bank doughnuts

Grippo's BBQ Chips

She thought I was crazy @ the time but I told her that I was going to sketch this...TA DA!

Still working on pieces/concepts for my exhibit.  Just a few more sketchy things to finish, then onto putting it all together! 

I also started working on some of my 2011 Valentine stuff.  When I get on a roll I can't stop.  I plan to show a couple of Valentine pieces @ the exhibit.
