EYE GOT IT

It's official, my passport has arrived for my upcoming travels.

As eye opened my postal eye began to cry because another dream of mine is a reality and eye am holding it in my hands.

For my trip outside of our great US of A , a certain amount of planning needs to happen so that eye can immerse myself in the culture, food and arts.

In a few weeks eye will be traveling abroad with 3 of my best girlfriends for fun and adventure.  We all realize the state of our countries and want to have the best experience possible so we enrolled our trip in STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program).  By enrolling you receive the latest travel updates and information pertaining to your trip.  STEP will compile all current information about the country where you will be traveling or living.

EYE TRAVEL

Eye am a avid collector of vintage luggage with a 

special fondness for Samsonite.

Eye travel, decorate and carry my art pieces in vintage luggage

of all kinds.

Recently, eye was faced with investing in a new travel piece and eye chose a new Samsonite case.  

It's the Jetlite DLX in the color WHITE...like snow.

Now eye know a lot of people shy away from white but not me

and not this case.

It's ergonomic design makes it easy to use and clean.

Eye picked this beauty up from my local 
TJ Maxx store.

GOODWILL HUNTING

All of my followers on Instagram

know how much Parker and eye

 vintage shop to fill our wardrobes 

with unique items and accessories.

Parker mentioned that eye 

needed some harem pants

4 my wardrobe and eye have been on 

the hunt ever since.

Eye finally found this lovely jumper.

It's a white 1980's Harem Jumper 
eye picked up from the Goodwill 
4 only $5.49.

Back in the day they were also referred to as 

"Balloon" pants.

Harem pants are usually made 
of soft fabrics,

have full legs and gather at the ankle.  

The modern version of harem pants 
was popularized

in the 80's by MC Hammer and became know as

"Hammer Pants".  

Everyone wore them and if you were heavy into the club scene 
 back in the day, 
you wore your Hammer Pants!

WHAT EYE KNOW

On March 9, 2014 eye celebrated a milestone birthday and as eye reflect back over my life, here are 4 things eye know.

1.  Time waits 4 no one.  Eye tell all young people to dream big and go 4 it.  If eye knew then what eye know now, my life would be so different.

2.  The things my mom told me that eye didn't listen to were ALL TRUE!  Eye wish eye would have listened to mom more.  She will be 90 this year and is such a awesome inspiration to me.  Young people can really learn a lot from their parents and elders, just listen.  They have been where you are and they know more than you think.

3.  Things happen, good and bad, that's life. Eye finally learned to be honest and live my truth.  Eye'm no longer afraid of what others think.  When eye create it is always from my "good place" even when it is not received that way.  When eye can't do something, eye say no and not beat myself up about it.

4.  EYE AM HAPPY BEING ME.  It took all these years to love the skin eye'm in.  Eye had a unforgettable birthday as eye was showered with love and knowledge from my close friends and family.

EYE HAVE A CRUSH

As of late eye have been expressing my self in living color.

Eye picked up a new lip paint in the color of  O R A N G E.

Orange is my favorite color and to this day eye love Orange Crush Soda.  

My choice is a orange lip crayon by Cherimoya.

Eye picked up mine from Jenny Beauty Supply in Duncanville, TX

 Orange is the rage and comes in lots of shades and brands to choose from:

Cookin' for Kids is a unique Celebrity Chef cook-off

where celebrity chef partners compete to create the meal of a lifetime

with a box of mystery ingredients on a bunsen burner in
ONLY 45 MINUTES.

This gala evening is the single largest fundraising event for
Kids Who Care where my son is a resident actor.

Eye am offering "Hello" as 1 of my illustrated art cards.
Eye love giving art print cards 2 my friends & family
so eye added a new section to my Etsy shop 4 my illustrations.

INTRODUCING...

Since going natural @ the end of 2009

eye have enjoyed my journey thus far.

Eye chose 2  "big chop" my hair which was about a 1/2 inch in length

upon doing so.  My hair right now is 9 inches long, healthy, curly & free!

Eye have been hard @ work sketching & creating.

When eye think back over my life eye am reminded 

of the times eye was blind 2 different situations and just like a light bulb

turning on, eye am enlighten and learn a valuable lesson.
